I created a boutique general contracting company which specialized in residental interior NYC apartment renovations. This business was a chance to evolve and link my design skills into actual 3-D construction, as well as boot camp that stretched my communicative, legal and management skills. I wanted a unique outfit (especially to NYC) that would demystify the often hair-raising and painful home renovation process through empowering my clients with information and explanation of the process every step of the way. 

 

Using my design background, I consulted clients on everything from interior design to color to purchasing and planning. I created and modified my own contracts, hired subcontractors, handled all advertising and promotion, handled all go-sees, and oversaw projects from the consulting phase to completion (as well as tackel a lion share of the hands-on work). I can proudly state that my projects were completed %100 on or before scheduled contractual completion. The reviews I recieved on my citysearch site (as well as being nominated for a Best of Citisearch in the Home Improvement Category) speak for themselves.

 

One of my kitchen renovations was used as an example on the Modwalls tile site as an example of how fabulous their product looked. Rainer Building was Nominated for a "Best of Citysearch" in the Home Improvement category, stemming from it's client reviews.
